Lake
Kaindy, Kazakhstan
·
It is a 1300 ft long lake and is located
around 6600 ft above sea level in Kolsai Lakes National Park, Kazakhstan.
According to the reports, the 1911 Kebin earthquake triggered a major
limestone landslide, which led to the formation of the lake, whereas the
frigid water temperature of the lake helped to preserve the forest under the
surface.
·
Here in this lake, you will see how
toothpick-like trunks above the water’s surface seem barren, due to the
exposure to various elements, whereas underneath, the story is
completely different. The underneath sight is as spectacular as pale green algae cover the
underwater trunks & branches of trees, where one can dive in & explore
its beauty.
